Update: Moving to a new flat with Faye

Posted on Posted in Personal

It’s been a busy few days as Faye and I have been moving into an absolutely amazing flat in the centre of Canterbury. Yes, this is the 5th move in 5 years and yes it is getting tiresome but this time we have an entire flat.

It’s in a closed community which makes it nice and secure and it comes with a parking space which can otherwise be tricky to find. The flat itself is all on one floor and very open plan with an ensuite bathroom and spare bathroom for visitors. Kitchen is amazing and brand new, wooden flooring. It’s all just beautiful.

We have also been very lucky with furniture. Faye’s mum and Leigh came by today with a sofa and table also taking the opportunity to pick up some of Faye’s other furniture from her previous house. Her furniture and my mountain of technology has made an awesome living room.

Downside. Still no bed frame, wardrobe or chest of drawers but they’re all thing we can actively look for second hand over the next few weeks.

All in all it’s been a great move. So happy to be moving in with my wonderful girlfriend and looking forward to the future. Oh and also looking forward to bloody broadband due the middle of February!

Here are some more photos of Faye sorting out our bedroom by building a bed whilst I was revising – yes I know – I am a lucky dude!
