I have finally found a theme for my jailbroken iPhone that i could use permanently (apart from the standard iPhone UI of course) and it’s based on the HTC Hero UI. I love it, and it looks awesome.

This is my main page. I have local weather and an awesome looking clock on the home screen with messages, mail and of course facebook. The little ‘.’ is my clock application as i use that a lot. Then there is the Phone and the ‘+’ is the contacts app. Here’s a link on how to install the theme.
And just so you have an idea of how the other apps are organised here is my next page.

This is basically how the standard theme looks apart from i added the reflective dock customisation which is also available on Cydia.
The whole theme is just a nice change from the standard iPhone user interface plus this particular theme just feels a little happier and more fun whilst still keeping the simplicity and almost sexy design that Apple expect from their devices. So either buy a HTC Hero as your next phone or jailbreak your iPhone!
PS - The ‘backgrounder’ app is a life saver if you text a lot. Loading up messages all the time is annoying slow and if you dont have a 3GS can become incredibly tedious. Backgrounder lets you run any app that you like as a running process so that every time you start it up it loads much quicker. The downside of course is that if you own a iPhone3G or 2G then you can really only run the one background application as the phone will run very slow otherwise. And it will drain the batter life a little quicker.
Final P.S - ‘Cycorder’ is another great app for jailbroken phones so that you can record video! Basic i know but again very nice to have.
