30th June 2010:

I had a nice and relaxing day today. The weather has been nice and Fabio was in the paddling pool so i had a play around with my DSLR and practiced on some manual photography. Here is one of the pictures that i came up with. I posted 2 others also but i took about 50! It was a lot of fun to be honest! Thank you fast aperture! Im cooking curry tonight, i miss curry!

Haha, Zio on my MacBook talking to my mum and dad on skype. It was a pretty quiet day today though. Went out to watch the football in Pula which ended up basically being a GERMAN bar! bloody hell. Literally there were about 12 of us outside watching the game and 9 of them were German. It was preety bad. The only consilation was that we had a deal at the beginning with one of the German guys so he bought us all a beer. What a terrible game though. David James is bloody joke.

Another lovely day in Sardinia. We went to Pula in the evening as they had a celebration/festival thing going on. Had a couple of beers and some pizza as per usual! Watched Italians dance to the music. They seriously have no shame at all. Its really nice to see. They don’t give a shit what they look like and they just have fun. Admittedly it was mainly the older generation that were dancing! We are half way through our holiday now. I can’t believe that we are going to be coming back to England soon!

25th June 2010:

We had a great day out with Zio Celestino and Zio Franco today. Took loads of photo’s, learnt some thing about Sardinians history, went to the beach and went out for to Chia Laguna for an icecream and free espresso! It always tops it off nicely when Zio Celestino makes some jokes and the Italians have no idea if he is serious or not! Haha! This photo is of me basically on top of the world. Gabriella took this with my DSLR as well. Congrats!

It’s been such a long day but really nice. Really hot too reaching about 33C. I know England has been getting amazingly high temperatures too but no doubt it will be unbearable in England. At least here it is a lot less humid. Another long day again tomorrow… Bring it on!

Not really much to report today. Had a lazy day is all. Spent a lot of time on the beach, had an amazing dinner and watched the tragic Italy game. It’s okay, still have 2 more teams to support! Im really looking forward to tomorrow as we’re going somewhere with loads of Sardinian ruins. Apparently they were more advanced than the Egyption pyramids… I guess we’ll see. I think the first day of being in Sardinia has been a wonderful success. Sun sun sun baby! And it’s not unbearable hot. It could be so much more uncomfortable but its actually perfect at the moment! High 20’s with plenty of breeze. Already got a small tan. Bring on tomorrow! Oh and England finally won a World Cup game. Thank god! Good day, very good day :-)

This is my new baby. My mint condition Nikon 12-24mm wide angle zoom lens and damn its a lovely lens. My original plan was to resell it for a profit but i was convinced to keep it for myself. I did get it at a bargain price and if i was to resell it i may make a 100% profit. But to be honest im working full time very soon and i may just end up buying a lens like this in a few months anyways, so i may as well keep it and see how it goes. Besides, lenses hold their value so if i dont want it after Sardinia and New York then i will sell it in. Either way expect some pictures from it this week as im leaving for Sardinia tomorrow!

17th June 2010:

I went to a colleagues house today to sort out his Mac. I upgraded his beautiful 16” G4 iMac from OS X 10.2 to 10.4.9 which took ages! Plus i put the most compatible iLife suite on it too with some security updates all without the internet. He bought me lunch and a beer in return plus an unexpected £40… Very very kind man. Anyways, i then met Lauren and Georgi in whitstable and had some fish and chips to top the day off. So it was financially and educationally good as well as a little fun. What more can you really ask for?

14th June 2010:

I went to Greenwich for the day as Lauren had an interview which was nice. Took a couple of nice photo’s with George (Laurens friend) whilst she was at the interview. We did however cut it damn close as we has to run to Victoria coach station! Only just made it to the bus in time!

Literally we arrived in Canterbury at 6:45 and went straight to a restaurant for Sophie’s birthday, had food, drank, then went to the Works for a dance or 2. 3 bottles of Fosters for £3 might i add. Dirt cheap! Turns were out of the house for 16 hours straight. Proper manic day but a lot of fun none the less. TIME TO RELAXXXX

I had a 6 and a half hour shift at work today. My god it went slow. Thankfully i was with Kelly and Kate though so that always makes things more bearable… Only 2 more shifts remaining and then i have 2 weeks off before i start my new job! It was Sophie’s birthday also so we gave her some presents and went out for a few drinks with some trivial pursuit at the Dolphin pub. I know, we are hardcore students!

Theres nothing better than drinking, and chilling with your mates in the sun listening to live student music(with the occasional dance). Had a great time at artsfest. Wish we stayed for a little longer this year to be honest. We’ll try and not make the same mistake again!

It’s all about the beer pong! I had Gabriella and Gina over for 2 nights which was a lot of fun. Learnt how to play American beer pong which might i add i was sick at (the good kind btw). Those Yanks sure know how to drink!
